| Tatsumi is the secretary of the Shokan Division, a masterful accountant, and possessing of great administrative faculty within Ju-Oh-Chou. His real age is never directly known, but it has been suggested that Tatsumi is well over a century old, although he looks just in his thirties. A powerful shinigami, his powers manifest in his ability to manipulate the shadows to do his bidding. He is a full-fledged kagetsukai, or a shadow master, and only he and his teacher are known to possess this unique power. Almost obsessive about the budget, he works constantly in order to ensure the proper use of all funds in the department and reports directly to the Division chief, Konoe. He is generally known for his spendthrift ways - he's rarely known to lend money to anyone, and only then in extreme cases. Tatsumi is generally a reliable shinigami - dependable, efficient, and unafraid of hard work. His co-workers are of utmost importance to him, and if a perceived threat arises, Tatsumi may intervene if needed. He seems even more protective of Asato Tsuzuki, with whom he has a deeper connection to in relation to the other shinigami in his division. |
